the one promise i've kept so far
With her head out the window, she yells
I love you more than the moon loves its stars
I can hear her from my own window, miles away
We smile simultaneously
Knowing that even though we’re far
Our love still keeps us close
I open my window and feel the crisp winter air hit my face
I love you to infinity and beyond
We both chuckle, alone in our separate rooms
And with that,
We know this is forever
No matter how far we stray from New York City,
We’ll always find our way back to each other
That’s our promise,
Written in blood
