when i look in the mirror

When I look in the mirror I don’t see me.
I am a boy.
not she
her,
but he
him.
when i look in the mirror i see a girl.
the perfect version of me.
but
that perfect version of me isn’t me.
that girl isn’t me.
when i look in the mirror I don’t see me.
but i want to see me
one day.
