Then I can count
You’d go to bat
For any of us
Does that exclude him or me?
Are we not worth it?
Or is she worth more?
Will you still go to bat for me?
I believed you would
Until today, she sat across from me
Spitting those phony excuses
As if she regretted any of it
So I’ll ask again
Is she worth more?
Then me or him?
Now when you say you’ll go to bat
For any of us
I can’t help but laugh
