Sometimes it ain’t about the violence,
Sometimes words are all it takes to break a heart,
Sometimes it ain’t about the wounds,
Sometimes scars are all that’re left behind,
As a reminder of our heartbreak,
Sometimes it ain’t about the tears,
Sometimes smiles put into words,
Where the tongue is of no use,
Sometimes it ain’t about the laughter,
Sometimes silence is the best reply!
