Symphony
I lay my fingers upon the keys,
a soft melody of nothing,
to calm me down.
If he were here,
playing the piano like he does,
could he make my melody of nothing into something?
His fingers would lay upon the keys,
and he would turn these random key notes,
into an actual piece.
He would never dare though,
so I will sit here and continue to play my keys,
until my fingers are raw,
for the hope that one day,
I can hear his symphony.
I wrote this for my Creative Writing class. I was inspired by an art piece at my school.
