Future vs. Fear

Future,

We hear from a very young age

Future,

What will you choose to do in it?

Fear,

Often comes along with that question.

Fear,

Of what you will do with your life.

Fear of the future, this fuels most.

But too much of it,

Can break down the host.

Cope,

Try to, that's all you really can do.

Cope,

They say, positively they hope.

Endure,

It does. The fear never really leaves.

Endure,

You surely can, but it takes a lot of time.

Cope and endure, that’s how you survive

Because without it.

You’ll never make it out alive.

Life or Death

The classroom is my operating station;

And countless questions are my diagnosis.

Answers exist as my lucky surgery,

Now my passion is blooming.

To stay in the classroom; that’s what I need now.

But maybe on the side of the answers.

Not a patient but the doctor performing;

Helping those who are bleeding.

Because to me,

Unanswered questions could lead to death;

Absence of classrooms would yield the same.

Subject Shuffle

Yes, yes math that’s it,

Weeks go by.

No, no try again

But I really did try.

Here we go, here we go english is the one

Days pass

Guess not, guess not pick another

But I like that class.

I’m gonna do, I’m gonna do history

The semester moves along

Maybe, Maybe or something else

But, I’m sick of this constant song.

I feel it in my blood.

I know I have to teach.

I’m stuck on what.

I feel like I’ll never reach.
