When you are born it's dark
Then comes the light
You eventually learn to walk
and stay up late at night
Growing up has stages
You start as a child
You start to go through phases
Sometimes life is just mild
When you are a teen
You get in trouble
Some people think you're mean
fitting in listening to the treble
Then comes being an adult
Trying to find a way
You need to not blame the fault
And find your own way to pay
Some things aren't so rough
you learn to evolve and grow
even when times get tough
but its all a part of growing up
