Ten Thousand
The visual appeal to the tender,
tongue and fingers dyed red and orange
like some sort of magma under the earth's crust.
The flavor attaches itself to all ten thousand taste buds.
Latching onto each taste bud and infusing its flavor,
like a mosquito injecting its saliva into your skin on a summer night.
The range of spice levels,
like a child brought to the toy store on his birthday,
making the hardest decision of his life on what toy he gets.
The slider bursts your mouth with flavor,
like a paintball splattering against a wall.
Each flavor represents each piece to a puzzle.
Each piece is made to fit perfectly with each other.
Those pieces are our taste buds.
All ten thousand of them.
