My Life as a Vacuum
My life as a vacuum I detest,
All except for when I get rest.
When someone comes in my room,
To clean with me instead of a broom!
The awful things that happen next,
Cause me to suffer horrible side-effects:
They force me to slurp up peoples' hair,
And stuff me under squishy chairs!
Or make me suck up leftover food,
Then leave me wishing that I was a dude!
I have to gobble up bugs galore,
On the ceiling and the floor,
Not to mention dust which is quite the chore!
Worst of all when they leave out their junk,
They make me gulp it down with a sickening CLUNK!
No matter how much I cough and splutter,
And protest for them to stop with the clutter.
They shove me around,
Bang me into walls with a frown!
And now I’m wishing that I was asleep,
Alone in my room.
Alone to weep.
About my horrible disgusting life as a vacuum.

I wrote this when I was about 1o because I hated vacuuming the living room, and started wondering how the vacuum felt about it! Have fun reading my silliness!
