Just a Breeze
It lies there, in the corner out of sight
Dark embryos of brown, coat the plastic that has been neglected as if a
Tomato plant forgotten, left in the steaming summer sun. What has once been used to eliminate
Intense waves of heat can no more.
It sits strong as an oak that has grown for centuries.
Lingers,
Waiting,
For another chance at throwing what once was a calm whirl of a breeze—salivating at the thought of being restored to its former prestige.
What if it would? Would it be treated with the utmost respect?
Why is this forgotten?
