yet as twisted and lethal as the jagged thorns that surround it;
words
as sensational and extravagant as the harmonies of a piano
yet as hoarse and dissonant as a beaten-down accordion;
words
as we write,
as we speak
as we read,
as we hear
as we love,
as we hate
as we cherish,
as we hurt.
