The Ode to Stinkbug
I’m a stinkbug, I know that ever since.
Not a human or a cat, they are too giant and too bad-tempered;
Not a mob or a swift, they are the ones we call “predators”.
But as a bug who stinks, I’m diligent and cautious, thus thriving.
Of course humans hate me,
As what I’m named after:
STINK.
But they’re wrong if they think they can
Debug me from the sink.
I crawl, climb, be chased;
I fly, feint, and flee;
Not fear if they smash me ----
Or they will be tricked
With the smell that stinks:
As if I still live livingly!

Stinkbugs are indeed annoying, but I do respect them. This is an ode to stinkbugs, and every person who has the spirit of stinkbugs, that is, be diligent, and cautious, thus thriving.
