Youth
When you tiptoe through the Valley of Happiness, you might find the old smell of nostalgia. It will radiate with fuzzy colors of green and brown. The smell of a burnt match takes you back to the mischief you would cause with your friends. Howls at night of children laughing taste like sweet chocolate with a sea salt finish. Stars above sound like a high-pitched beam of light flying past your ear. The hiding place of rain shivers underneath a pale moonlight. For once again, you are young. And although you miss it and desire it more than anything, it is gone. But do not worry, for the shape of the past fits inside the scope of the future.
