Favorite Quote:
Life is full of possibility."

In the deep of a weary night,

Down the forest dim of light;

Far away a shadow stand,

Seemed so lost, so steady but tense.

The Shadow shivered cold and lonely,

Sighed so hard the cloud can hear he.

“Dear God!” Said He, “Where’s your pity!”

Though within darkness, there isn’t a deity.

Then he tripped and bumped face down

And cry out so hard like he has drowned

As pain fast covered all his misery faith,

“Were I at a cliff, I would jump no hesitate!”

Bleak wind blew and harsh rain fell,

Washing his wound without a pause.

Leaves in darkness, dancing with joy,

Falling branches, whomping with pride.

Suddenly, some holy brightness came,

Float an angel, and a pair of sacred wings.

As the glow came close, the pain starts to cease,

He closed his eyes, and things returned to peace…

In the deep of a weary night,

Down the forest dim of light;

Far away a shadow lies,

Seemed so lost, so still, so dry.

How many nights must a man come by,

Before the light could shine on them?

Everyone had experienced a low mood before. This poem is written during a period of my emotional downturn. To readers: if you are experiencing something similar, consider trying to read it in a way to feel the man's hopelessness and compare it to your circumstance. Likely, you will feel better!

The poem pictured the power of nature and a man gradually losing faith. You may read it either literally, or as a metaphoric story related to your daily life. Enjoy!
