Naturally,
as a caterpillar,
You are hungry.
So,
you eat anything
and everything
in sight.
you don't yet realize
whether the substance
is toxic
or nutritious.
All you know,
is that you are hungry.
In chrysalis,
you digest.
I've come to believe
that loneliness
painful as it is
is very necessary.
without time
spent in solitude
there would never be a butterfly.
just a crazy,
ravenous caterpillar
not knowing when to stop,
unable to fly.
