Empty space
Do you miss me too?
Like I do every day
Do you still think of our memories?
Together with sounds of laughing
Do you go back to the beginning?
When I was small and new
Do you replay the day I was born?
When things were simple
Everything was in place
And the darkness was far away
At least for me but maybe not for you
Did you suffer in silence?
Keeping secrets to yourself
Did you need a distraction?
If so, from what
Did you try to recover?
But you weren’t quick enough
When you slipped into the rabbit hole
Was there nothing to hold onto?
But the one thing you’re most proud of
Is me being a part of you.
