The hallway smell lingers
Between me and the quiet.
Chatterfrom students who don’t care.
The whipping of the trees in the wind
Upon the dark green grass.
Orange bounces off the faded walls.
Shiny round disk dangle from the trees
Surrounding the courtyard.
Showing the creativity of students.
Young minds at work.
The faint sounds of student’s laughter.
Attention to the courtyard.
