Hard Times
Grey filled the sky,
the air was dense and humid,
the wind whistled through the trees.
Clouds shaped quickly and abundant,
forming and merging,
flowing like the plains of kansas
smooth and unbothered.
Although, with the enormous clouds
came harsh thunder
its rain pours down,
flooding the valleys.
And flushing the dens.
Booming,
One after another,
the bolts of angry energy smashed the surface,
setting trees ablaze.
Though, the harsh nature is just a factor.
What follows is peaceful,
Relaxing.
Dogs, Ian Poelstra, are scared of it
and some lay their head to it,
No matter how you take it,
Beautiful or feral.
It's necessary,
but never permanent,
all things end.
Although
What comes next is nothing but extraordinary.
Bright, green, happy.
Glowing arches of undeniable color.
Full rivers, beaming with the shine of a high sun.
Deers, squirrels, birds,
retreating out of their shelter,
to continue filling nature with the life it deserves.
It rains, it pours
But the flowers still bloom,
the bees will buzz,
the crickets chirp.
Nature grows off of hard times, so should you.
