People Pleased
Multiple people told me they liked my earrings one day
So now i wear them everyday
Someone said they liked my pants
So i wear them at every chance
People like when my bangs are swooped out
So i do it, no frown no complaining no doubt
When i wear tight shirts i get more compliments
What the hell is wrong with this?
I shouldn’t have to change myself for people to like me
But then why do i feel that need?
Being yourself is hard
Especially if you wanna go somewhere in life, go far.
I’d like to propose a different plan
One that’ll make me feel better in the end
a changed man

This is about feeling like you have to make everyone happy before yourself. Like having a confrontation with yourself in the mirror.
