The way of life
Way of life, my life.
Being and unbeing, an anomaly so intense
The feel of existence, a mystery so found.
We live and breathe; we laugh, and we cry.
We strive for greatness; we seek to understand.
But the universe is fast, and time is a grain of sand
We are nothing but a whisper, a memory in time
A ongoing thought, a rhythm and rhyme
We are born a stardust, yet so fast to become one
A cycle of life, a fire that will burn.
We are here for a reason, something to fulfill.
To love and be loved, for fun and for thrill.
In the end we fade away, without a touch nor feel.
A memory of a memory, a dream that won't heal.
Being and unbeing, a mystery to behold
A journey of the soul, my story to be told.
A journey of the spirit, a tale that never ends.
Laughter and cries with family and friends
Seen the streetlights on, it was time to go in.
Never will I see that day again?
Only memory of life is what I leave behind+
I will cherish every moment, soon to see sunshine.
A journey of me, until I’m outside.
