The Fallen Leaves tell a Story
The branches creak and groan,
mourning the loss of what’s been.
The sun sets in red and gold,
A reminder that all things grow old.
The stars shine bright as the sky grows darker,
A reminder of the cycle of life.
Nature’s beauty is a gift.
A reminder to the world we inherit.
As rivers flow with a gentle ease.
As mountains stretch towards the sky.
As trees stand tall, their roots deep and strong,
Even they cannot escape death’s song.
The cycle of life is a beautiful thing.
With each passing moment we learn and grow,
Each experience helps us know,
Life is precious and must be cherished.
