A Game Night Out
It’s a Beautiful day outside.
The birds are singing.
The grass is growing.
But brother, I hurt people
If it wasn’t for them, I’d go ballistic
Days worth of useless sitting
Days worth of wasted time
My mouse is screaming from constant abuse
But if it wasn’t for them, what’s the use?
I think I need to get some rest
It probably is for the very best
But no matter what I do, or what I say
I’m always right back to it, to the bitter end
I’ve tried touching grass
I’ve tried going out my comfort zone
I’ve tried, I’ve tried, I’ve tried
In the bitter end I’m still on that same chair.
That chair, so over used
Febreeze in the air, makes it stuffy
Others open windows for “fresh” air
So many bad habits, so few solutions
Easy to escape, too easy to get back in
It’s an easy loop to get stuck in
It’s an easy loop to get out of
In the bitter end I’m still on that same chair.
