Tunnel Vision
When I play basketball I feel alive
All I want to do is aim high not low
As the shock clock wines down
I’m like Michael Jordan in his prime (Tf 36)
But when benched I feel I’m running out of time
My eyeballs have been ripped apart (Tf 5,6)
And you don’t know what to do
You can't wait to become a star, but it will take time and growth,
just as when you first started to crawl
Is it my time
My coach has a smile of a 660 mile subway
Recalling my past performance
The things that make you feel alive (Tf 46)
I can still feel these thoughts yet remain inspired to succeed (tf 46,47)
Coach makes me feel like i’m running underwater
What more does he need
In desperate hope I go search for my ball every corner of my room
Most of us seem to lose
the soul of mine struggles
But will never fall
How will you use this moment?
