There’s one tree
A tree with lots of roots
Without those roots
There would be no tree
Those roots are what make the tree
Make the tree strong
Whole and alive
What would that tree be without its roots
It would still be a little sapling
It wouldn’t grow
Federal way is just like a tree
Without out the people
Without are community
What would it be
It would be just a place
A place no different from anywhere else
What makes Federal way
Is us
Us the people we are what make it
We make Federal way different from anywhere else
We love, We fight, We hate
Even tho we have are differences
We still come together as one
Just like a tree
All are roots tie to one
