Blurred Vision
As the lines begin to get thicker with each swipe of my brush
Every strike of my pencil. Every swipe of my stylus
The journey of growth grows ever more Strenuous
As the influx of knowledge floods through filed away and stored
The fatigue and frustration kicks in
The act itself invites many individuals
Whether welcome or unbidden
The whispers come in many forms
Curious or my all time favorite condescending
I try not to pay them any mind
Yet their whispers infiltrate my fortress
Its once serene and beautiful exterior
Now covered in thorns and vines
Leaving the once charming domain
Marred beyond recognition
