It's been awhile since I read a book

Been a while since I moved a page

Will I be able to finish it or

Will I quit and never touch a book again

But I did it anyways, I read a book                    5

And I liked it

I was amazed with the details

The way you saw the world 

In your head

I was amazed the amount of focus It takes           10

Id forget everything around

It was just me and my book

The books would change but

The feeling stayed the same

That comfortable feeling I knew all those years ago          15

Always stayed the same 

But There's plenty more books out there

And i'll try to read them

But as long as that feeling stays the same

I'll probably still be reading                                           20
