melancholia
walking along the bank of a river,
admiring the glaze upon the turbulent waters
as the weather becomes crisp and you begin to shiver,
you would give anything from dimes to dollars
the smog covered the beauties of the azure sky
a blanketed tarp colored to be silvery
and you would be able to hear a faint cry
that would only be quivery
the grass would be colorless
to resemble the loss of someone
only intended to bring out the stubbornness
but still to be called your loved one
they only requested to be pictured
in the milky white waters
but they were only to be seen in sick birds
and to be forgotten by their daughters
going there for frozen swims
and to be filled with a sense of anxiety
that you would be paralyzed within your long limbs
because of the effects by society
life can be so unpredictable
a box of chocolates given on the fourteenth
they know it is irresistible
and only received in short scenes
