Perhaps it was ill-fated,
Or something destined,
Whether the meaning lies on the right side of the spectrum,
Or perhaps the wrong,
It is up to the individual to interpret
Because that’s the way everything has been made to be.

I really thought hard about leaving the beginning open-ended, as to allow the piece to apply to a lot of different situations, whether it be the unfortunate passing of a family member or a friend, or coming out of a dark period in your life, I hope that maybe the idea that our ability to interpret things individually can bring someone some kind of solace.
