New beginnings
Salty fresh air,
the breeze within my hair.
The sound of people cutting grass, whipping past my ear.
Buds blossoming alongside our fears,
those short days feel like years,
but little did you know, spring is here.
With that bring new beginnings,
for us to share.
It is not unlikely for us to be scared,
due to the change that is near.
Don't fret, don't fear,
but instead, be optimistic
to the bees buzzing,
bringing new beginnings this year.
