I am trapped,

not in a cage or even a room, 

I am trapped in my own tunes.

I hear the voice inside my head

 telling me to go to bed. 

I am trapped in a loop where the days are just the same

 and everything is so plain, 

oh god I wish something would change but,

I am trapped.

I wish there was a way to get out,

 but I already tried every route.

I wish that I was just like everyone else,

 little do they know I am not myself. 

I wish with every candle on the cake, 

that I could just escape

 and leave this toxic place but, 

I am trapped.

Trying to find myself everyday

 with more and more obstacles in the way

 is harder than it seems, 

but I still feel the need to try to run,

that was a close one almost to the end 

trying to get better even tho,

I am still trapped.
