Oven Baked
Hearing the soft ding, I hop off my feet
Making my way over in a heartbeat
However it was not what I was expecting
When I opened the little door
And what I saw next filled me with horror
Burnt beyond recognition, it lay there still
And my heart began to feel very ill
What had I done, standing there stunned
If only I had paid more attention
Then maybe there could’ve been prevention
If only I had not been so reckless
Then something could have been done
And so my heart goes out
My sorrowful soul
That maybe next time
I won’t burn my pizza rolls
