Sometimes reality seems fake,

and I wonder how much life can take

The clouds seem too perfect

The grass seems too green

The people seem too robotic,

and the normal people get called “psycotic” 

Life often feels like only a dream

The sun never ever gleams

Life is just a dream

The people standing around us;

they don’t look real but they must

We keep telling ourselves,

that we are not just displays on shelves,

but that’s not the story people tell

You have to be a shiny piece of plastic,

and your clothes have to be a fancy fabric

People think life can be magic

Life is just a dream

Dream big dreams they say,

but soon the fantasy goes away

Try to be positive and cheerful,

but that’s just words of earful

Be realistic and finally confirm, 

that nobody deserves what they earn
