Restless and Lonely.

The constantly moving trees.

The sound of leaves rustling together in the howling wind.

The bright full moon gleams over the forests and backyards.

The outside creatures are waiting to feast or be feasted on.

The sound of someone walking through your yard on a dark night.

The pitch black sky with a bright circle in the middle of it.

The knock on the door at midnight.

Closing and locking every door and window.

The howls of coyotes sneaking in the dark.

The feeling of being surrounded by people, eyes you don’t recognize.

The single and last tear I’ll feel for the rest of my life.
