Abandoned
Its not that you died
Its just that youre gone
You chose to leave me here
You decided i wasnt enough
So go one with your life
But remember my name
Ill always remember yours
And how it killed you to stay
So maybe you are dead
But only to me
Youll move on and grow
With bittersweet memories
When you think of my face
I hope you see me angry
Resentment is familiar
Know that thats how you made me
So hold them close
Commitment is hard
For someone whos never tried
“Dad” never sat right in my heart

This piece means a lot to me because it is the best depiction of a situation I've been through. I feel i used my words perfectly
