The Moon

You are like the moon.
I know most people say the sun,
“Bright and full of energy”
But you can’t look at the sun for too long
You are the moon because I could stare at your beauty for hours on end
It does not hurt me to look at you
Instead I watch your imperfections as if I’m watching my favorite movie
You dear are the moon I wish to gaze upon
