Life, Electric
There’s a world of life down there
Where even the Sun fears to tread
Angels glow in the dark
Vibrant streaks of orange and blue
They float aimlessly yet gracefully
Like a balloon caught in the wind
Venturing across those cosmic depths
Their life electric
Their home the deep blue

I'm supposed to include something about myself here, but something tells me you didn't come here for that.
My poem, though, is about jellyfish. Jellyfish are friggin' cool. They just float around without a care in the world, stinging anyone and anything that even dares to interrupt their serene journey across the seven seas. And they glow! They glow! Do you glow?! Didn't think so. Jellyfish are everything we must strive to be; free from the shackles of this oppressive universe, simply going with the flow, and letting nature takes its beautiful, confusing course. The pinnacle of biological evolution, to be sure. I wanted to commemorate them via this poem. Pretty straightforward, no?
