Peach Preserves
June 2, 2023
Sweet, sticky perfection
Golden orange,
Like a late evening
Sun
Warm air flows by,
As I bask in the
August heat
Simple days,
With simple delights
All gone too soon

This poem is about summers at my grandma's house where we would make tons of peach treats. My favorite was peach preserves. The sweet spread has so many memories attached to it and this poem show that.
