Broken record of heartbreak
Bright lights
No one celebrates
Its dead silent
You can hear the leaves against the trees
The feeling of eyes shifting towards you
The eyes sliver down your body like a snake
He tells you something
Its all muffled
The tears running down your face picking up speed
You try to look at him but your broken heart is like glass on the floor
You can’t walk over the shatters
The whispering of everyone around you sounds like airplanes taking off
Even though its so loud all you can hear is your tears hitting the ground
He walks away in slow motion
Your tears are like glue keeping your feet in the ground
The feeling of being paralyzed while he walks away
The feeling of your tears being released and can’t stop
Everyone looks at you
The words keep replaying in your head
Like a broken record of heartbreak
