Blossoming
A wild sunflower boasts within me,
Thy roots pulsating with glee,
Growing from the sun —
Of a maiden’s affectionate fun,
Only her smile —
A gift from His beautiful vial,
With no other aim —
Other than for our love to put Heaven to shame.
Out of the stables Hell rode —
What to aspire of my loving ode,
Our love twisted with a kiss,
Another challenger aroused from the bliss,
Mangled our love —
As it left high by dove,
From deep inside the fire —
Her love skirted with another desire,
Our covenant alleviated —-
Thine eyes attracting I hated,
Pulling with an undeniable charm —-
Through thy head and swirled to the arm,
New bees stealing the sweet —
Gift of her radiating heat,
Her superb appeal —
New drones lust to feel,
Breaking and twisting and clanging —
Our love a banging,
Tearing the sinew of devotion —
With every beat a loss of emotion
Wrenched and wrung dry of love —
Left ready to be disposed of.
O how I hate and hate to love —
And love to hate the hate from above.
Did she grow higher —
Or did thy roots tremble beside her,
Did the suitors lie —
Their love was bone-dry,
Did the clouds cover up —
Her saddening breakup,
Hindering her time —
Till thy hair lost its prime,
Did her smile —
Cave in from her loving denial,
He laughed tonight —
As love began to bite
Was thy gift —
A poisonous rift,
Her eyes, a magical wand —
Broke my heart, dreams, and our bond
Showed when love grows from greed —
It shrivels like a weed
Love blossoms when pure
And triumphs a lover’s deceit of allure
Stops time in a fiery stove
Burning lies, keeping love in a trove
We defy a false-Fate,
He, Himself, cannot stop us from Loving and Loving, Love-full with no hate.
