No Need to Speak
Dust crawls up with the sun
to create a
crawl space of a person.
So hard to get into, even worse inside.
born with no voice,
frighteningly calm.
Tearfully joyful.
Her mouth refused to open,
though the look in her eyes made
everyone speak,
without a limit.
She listened
unresponsively.
The words crawled into her skin, she felt it all.
Every stab,
Every jab.
They left no wounds, only tender, damp cheeks.
Rays of sun shone through the cracks,
The wind blows the fresh specs of dust into the sky
away into the understandable unknown.

How hard it is for everyone to expect you to listen when in reality, the inability to get that respect back disintegrates you.
