Bloom, Then Wither
Born to slammed doors and hostile glances,
Loveless love. They are like
Ocean waves, slamming down
On each other. This house has become a
Madhouse.
And yet they say that once upon a time, they were not
Narcissistic. They did not even want to
Damage each other.
Why was
I not here when
They did actually
Hold love for
Each other? Why am I only here when the family is
Ruined?

I wrote this poem when I was talking with a friend about her parents before they divorced. She told me her story, and I wrote this poem for her. Hope you enjoy this short poem!
