I longed to tell my story
and share it with the world,
yet I had already read stories
that had better done the job

I wished to bring a difference,
change the world for better,
yet they seemed to be indifferent
when I kept my head up

I desired to achieve
feats, previously unheard of,
stood tall against humiliation
but struggled to find purpose

Now that
every story has been written,
every miracle's been told,
i cannot find the courage
to face the modern world.
