As the sun rose, so did a realization

The little kid who used to look up to seniors (literally)

has now become one

Change is like death; scary

But more importantly inevitable 

"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did."

When caterpillars turn into butterflies they have to first make their cocoon

An action that these caterpillars have never done before

There change is beautiful, beneficial, and bold

My transition from a child to an adult is like a butterfly

Scary, inevitable, and gross

But more importantly beautiful, beneficial, and bold

Once i'm out of my cocoon I will be a beautiful monarch

One that freely soars the sky

Then I will be free

Beautiful

Beneficial and
