Confused Dreams
Last night, I dreamt of the weirdest things, swirling in my head like waves on Nagawicka lake. I dreamt I was in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, swimming with a sage green 7 armed octopus. The octopus almost resembled a dragon, nefariously chasing me through the coral and seaweed. “AH '' I exclaimed, but all that came out of my mouth were bubbles. I swam to the surface, as fast as I could.
When i reached the top, a warm sunny sky greeted me, warm rain sprinkling down on my already soaked face. It was warm and comforting, like a blanket. I blink and in an instant I'm back on the beach, my white converse no longer soaked with the salty water. With a gracie abrams tune playing in my head, I begin to walk back towards home. “Five thousand six hundred fifty five, five thousand six hundred fifty six…” i mumble, counting the endless steps it takes to find my way back home.
