Morning Greeting
Picture this.
Fresh snowfall after a long chilly night.
Wrapped up in your coziest pajamas, you peer out the window to be greeted by a perfect, untouched blanket of crisp snow, spanning as far as your eyes can see.
It makes you feel calm. Nostalgic. It feels familiar, like an old friend you once knew.
The trees are frosted with the fluffiest icing one could imagine, and the wind whips and swirls the snow around. The sun hits the sparkly speckles, making the sky shine.
As a familiar melody plays in the background, you smile a bit. Little snippets of memories play back. Back to when you were a little girl, playing in the icy cold wonderland. Back when nothing else in life mattered.
You reach for your coat and open the door, and a sweet cold breeze greets you. I’ve missed you, dear friend.
