I’ve been pitched into a storm,
Relentlessly torturing me.
Invading my thoughts,
It terrorizes my naive mind.
It shoves me left,
When I aim right.
This terrible, terrible storm
Nothing but my own fault.
A consequence of my mistake,
I seek to correct it.
But for now I must endure,
For myself and for the people I care about.
