This phenomenal masterpiece was fabricated during my creative writing class. Whilst I was hereabout this Class I was assigned a prompt that was meant to assist us in creating different types of poems we normally would avoid creating, this prompt was called Pet. The idea given was to write a poem from your respectable pet's perspective. This prompt resulted in my impressive poem which tells the story gloomy yet peaceful life of a house cat, as they grow with their owner as father time leads them along the path of life. This poem reaches into the feeling of being held captive as you long to leave your cage but still know you are loved and protected where you are now.
