“In the quiet, misty morning,
when the moon has gone to bed,
when the sparrows stop their singing,
and the sky is clear and red.”
-Homeward Bound (my favorite song)

There is a small globe in my bedroom

varied with mountains, seas and deadly deserts

Constructed by fantastic sciences and life,

it is beautiful because we are on it.

I gently put my palm on the glowing globe,

thumb on where you are, pinky on where I am.

I miss you, we are just five fingers away,

7000 miles to our dismay.

I wanted to touch the globe more, but too scared

of the mass destruction I would make.

One palm is powerful enough to crush the world.

I can generate typhoons

in a breath, tap the Himalayas

with an 8.0 earthquake, spin the globe

to see if anyone is dizzy

I can be the destroyer of earth’s life.

One thing is keeping me from doing so.

When I look at the globe, I remember that I am on it

The laughter I made, the tears I shed

The crazy moments we had are all on it.

I used to think we are all stuck in this globe, stuck by its forces,

Not realizing generosity of life spoiled me to think I deserve it

Only that I do not deserve it and now

I am playing the world like a toy.

Then I calm down, and murmured:

Why crush the world?

I love this world.

This is my praise on the luxuries given by Earth. Let's love this planet and protect it!

I used to think negatively about live on earth. I guess I am simply spoiled.
