Roses and Thorns
Every rose has its thorns,
We can choose to let go,
Or to mourn
What once was, now is not
Focus not on what you had,
But what you've got
For all good things
Must come to an end,
"Nothing gold can stay,"
As Frost once said
The future can be bright,
Or it can be dark,
It's up to you, how you leave your mark
Living a life filled with fear,
Will never allow goodness
To come near
Create your future,
Choose the right path,
Or forever suffer
What Could Have Been's Wrath
The choice is yours,
Carpe diem,
it's never over, until life ends
A piece of poetry about the positive, and negative aspects of change.
