Vulnerability
Past is hell,
Memories are torture
Crawling inside her head
Tormenting her mind
The girl she said:
“Vulnerability is an authentic state.
To be open, for wounding
Then find happiness,
Where true beauty bears.”
I learned, cherish, gracing
Indeed
But not like that.
Her mom told: “It’s not sober.”
Her dad told: “It’s not power.”
Everyone disgraced
So I told her the “mature”
Witness had seen, and listen to understood
Now loathing herself, whoever she was.
Toughness, remember, profoundly take it.
Still, when the heart is hurt
She’s burst to tears.
Now then, what I love, and only love
Once and forever
The girl is no more
Long gone
Emotions make a path outside
Out of my life
Took her to the ‘never’
How blissful it is
Like a delighted siren
Now then, it’s just me, myself and I
A remembrance to keep
I’ll be here for now.
